In my opinion it's the natural mode of kaiju transportation. All non-flying kaiju swim, it's a standard thing, so I don't think we should stress it so much.

Not true... Barugon, one of the most well-known kaiju, did in fact drown from Gamera pulling him under.

I think this whole argument over whether or not a fantasy creature can swim is pointless. Overall, I see no problem with the character and feel that it's about time she be ok. Arachneia gets my stamp of [glow=red,2,300]Approval[/glow].
