I think keeping the tech section primarily for explanation of alien tech is the way to go as Goji and Vader said. Lately, I lost my interest in things around here because of the massive buildup. The notion of having to argue with a player over whether or not a ship or something can harm a kaiju is not something I look forward too. Does tech play an important role in the films? Yes. Rarely though can it do more than slow a kaiju down, if that. Its used as filler until the monster vs monster fights get underway or as a way of making it seem like the humans stand a small chance.

this isnt a rp about giant space battles, hell, i dont think the entire planet could fund a navy of giant proportions, it would take too much to keep it running. besides, if a ship is strong enough to go toe-to-toe with a kaji, then thats not right. As much as I am for the humans having a role, they are more the brains behind the kajiu, able to supplement their great power. We can have ships yes, but they are most likely to fight angelenis's army, not kaiju, and should be adjust thusly.
I am in favor of Vader and Goji's idea.

Yes, you can call me Nick if you wish. But anyways, this ended long ago, LaCroix just drug it out. His "position" was never an actual position, it was a title that he requested.
The final verdict, just so everyone knows, is that the already approved tech will stay in the approved section, but from now on, I do not want anymore human tech unless it's an uber special ship or something. I don't want to see 20 new vehicles a day in there either. This game isn't SOLEY about the kaiju, but they play the biggest role, so let's devote a little time to them.
