Purpose: To serve as as an observation/recon platform

Description: An upside down six sided pyramid with antennas jutting out from the bottom tip. The top has a 20 ft tall wall protecting a flat upper surface with two retractable panels which open to reveal an internal hanger for aircraft. The rest of the surface is dotted with windows, sensor nodes, and defensive weapons. It's surface is white.

Armor: Heavy titamium armor.
Armaments:
1. 20 defensive rapid fire laser turrets.
2. 10 guided missile launchers.
Equipment:
1. Powerfull shields capable of taking 20 direct hits from Godzilla's ray.
2. Advanced multiphasic sensory systems.
3. Hanger contains 20 Hunter Killers.
4. Computer systems are linked to goverment headquarters and are updated round the clock.
5. Advanced communications systems.
6. Anti-gravoty unit allows the Base to constantly hover at an altitude of 1,000 feet regardless of weather conditions.
Production History: These outposts where initially deisigned for use in oceanagraphic research but ehen the modern kaiju threat began, plans where changed and they became flying military observation posts. There are six sky-bases and are in a hexagonal formation around the Cuban mainland. each one is approximatly 5 miles offshore.
