Round 1: Angelenis VS Gamera

[Guardian Fang]

Terrain: Flat dirt with scattered rocks. circular lazer feild surrounds 1000 meters in every direction from the center of the ring. flying and digging are allowed within the confines of the barrier.

[Lord Vader]

The battlefield was still and calm, a gust of wind brushing across the dirt field. It was a desolate scene, a world of gentle serenity. It was neither comfortable nor uncomfortable. Just fairly even.

That was until a black spire ripped through the center of the ground taking the form of a clutched fist. The obsidion fingers of the structure reflected the dust and glare of the environment as it rose three hundred meters into the air before stopping.

It was then that the fingers begin to unfurl, revealing the flat palm of the hand. In the center stood the Dark Queen herself, the unholy and satanic Angelenis. The Queen of Darkness' long blonde hair shimmered in the sky, flapping about. By her waist rested her beloved sword, a weapon she was never seen without.

Angelenis chuckled softly as her eyes scanned the horizon. Psychically, she reached out for her foe. This would be entertaining. Pointless, but entertaining. Her dominion was absolute. None could stand against her.

Gamera stood opposite Angelenis and impatiently watched on as the grand entrance unfurled, rritated and slightly bored. Finally, after all the theatrics, the giant turtle monster raised its arms into a defensive position and circled to the left. The battle was (finally) on.

[Lord Vader]

Angelenis gave a soft coo of delight, finally seeing Gamera and his eager preparation to fight. She gracefully pulled her lethal, slender sword from her scabbard and struck a defensive position. The Dark Queen's tentacles each moved apart, the ends of them spreading slightly. Her dark eyes gleamed into Gamera's own.

With a sick smirk, Angelenis' sword began to lightly glow, as did her ends of her four tentacles. Her black wings gracefully unfurled behind her and in an instant, she was airborne. The Dark Queen charged the Guardian of the Universe, heading straight for him like a bullet. It was a bluntly straightforward attack, like a rampaging bull.

For a moment it looked as if the Dark Queen intended to skewer Gamera on her blade and cut short the Guardian's life. Instead, at the very last moment, she sharply pulled upwards and racked the sword upwards against the turtle's chest. Her tentacles instantly charged and stabbed into him, grabbing his body tightly.

Lightly laughing, Angelenis raised Gamera up on her four tentacles before rearing them back and throwing him back down. The Guardian of the Universe, as he plummeted, released a mighty plasma fireball at the Dark Queen. It scathed against her armored dress, meriting an insulting smirk from the Dark Queen.

Angelenis gracefully landed beside the fallen Gamera, smirking once again. As the turtle pushed himself to his feet, a blunt tentacle slammed against his face hard, sending him back down. Two more plasma fireballs leapt at the Queen, scathing her dress and knocking her back yet she remained standing.

Gracefully, she took a bow and waited, smirking the whole time. She released a ravaging wail, striking a defensive position.

(You are, obviously. I was merely having him retaliate in my posts. I dunno about you, but for me its common practice to have the enemy attack in my posts as well as my own. Obviously I have my own creation attack much more, but it helps keep things fair and balanced and prevents power plays.)

(Well, I would appreciate it if you'd leave Gamera's counterattacks up to me. ;D )

(Very well. Disregard them.)

The giant turtle snarled at Angelenis' arrogance. Tucking its limbs inside of its shell, Gamera was airborne in a sudden burst of white smoke, spinning like a buzz-saw and racing toward its opponent.

[Lord Vader]

Angelenis was caught off-guard as the whirling attack slammed into her and knocked her flat on her back. Gamera spun above her and looked ready to strike once more. Before he could do so, however, Angelenis threw two of her tentacles straight into the underbelly of the flying turtle.

The tentacles slammed into Gamera's gut as Angelenis rose to her feet. Before Gamera could even react, the Dark Queen's other two tentacles sprung at him, all four of them constricting around him before throwing him aside and into the dirt and rock hard.
