The Lost Child

Havanna, Cuba.

The heat of the noonday sun itself was nearly unbearable, but it was about to get much, much worse. The earth rumbled, as just outside the city a fissure began to rip open in the earth. Magma and fire spewed forth, incinerating anything nearby instantly. Two snake like objects reached out from the pit, pulling something out, a beast made from mans darkest nightmares. One hundred eyes, a jaw full or razor sharp teeth, massive claws, two tentacles with ripping barbs, Argus surveyed the city of Havanna with a fire in his eye, not caused by the fissure. After a moment he let loose with a horrendous, warbling roar. Any human in the city of Havanna that heard the roar instantly fell to the ground, unable to retain their footing. The creature himself moved into the city, his tentacles whipping around violently, snapping into buildings and tearing them apart.

[Kurgan]

Two squadrons of veritechs and three squadrons of ASTOL-MB93's streaked over the attacking monster, weapons firing. Outside the city, five Markalites began to slowly move toward the attacker, firing their rays. High above the city in the Macross, Captain Gloval watched the battle while talking to president Batista over a com.

"Yes sir, I have ordered the Conquistador X-1 and the Dragon Ceasar the return. The most we can currently do is hope they arrive quickly.

Meanwhile at the Cuban G-Force Base....

[glow=blue,2,300] These people have been good to us. We have to protect them.[/glow] stated Gezora.

[glow=orange,2,300]They didn't have to let us stay and rest, but they have.[/glow] replied Ganimes.

[glow=green,2,300] It is only fair that we repay their kindness and help them during this crisis.[/glow] said Kamoebas

The three then spoke as one.

[glow=white,2,300]It is decided then. the Triumverate shall go to Havana and attempt to fight off the attacking kaiju.[/glow]

Together, the three kaiju left the base, intent on protecting their allies.

[Goji]

Argus shrieked in pain as the salvo hit him. With a renewed sense of anger, he began to crush the area more violently than before. As the military flew overhead, Argus's tentacles lashed out, striking many from the sky. Argus let out another warble, this one in the direction of the masers, the vertigo waves wreaking havoc on their bodies.

[Kurgan]

On the outskirts of Cuba, the Triumverate arrived. The three located Argus and charged in. Ganimes was the first to close in and spewed his foam at the tentacled monster while Gezora released a barrage of ice beams. From above, three more veritechs arrived, raining missils down on the beast.

[Goji]

Argus thrashed about from the barrage of attacks, roaring in pain and confusion. His tentacles swatted the Veritechs as he turned towards the Triumverate, letting ou a roar, the vertigo wave aimed directlly at the Triumverate.

[Kurgan]

After stumbling around for a few moments, the three kaiju decided to stay still. They then fired a barrage of plasma balls, ice beams and energy beams at Argus.

[Goji]

The assault pushed Argus back, and he toppled over a large building, smashing into the ground with terrible force. He thrased about wildly, throwing limbs and tentacles everywhere, while attempting to regain his footing. Once he did, he lept into the Triumverate, lashing out in all directions, with no particular target in mind.

[Kurgan]

Kamoebas was hit and knocked back and Gezora tripped, however he got up soon after. Several blades emerged from his tentacles and he began to slash at Argus with them while Ganimes sprayed his foam at the demon.
