Name: Michele Bonanno
Nationality: Italian
Affiliation: U.E.D.F.
Stats:
Height: 5'11''
Weight: 215 pounds
Hair: Grey, though still with some color
Eyes: Blue/gray
Description: An older man yet still full of life, Michele Bonanno looks the part of a leader. Dressing in fine suits or tuxedos with the occasional trench coat depending on the weather, he somehow stands apart from the rest of the world leaders. His grey hair is always slicked back against his head.
Inventory:
-A gold ring with diamonds and a tiger's eye gem. It was a gift from his favorite and closet grandfather.
Special Abilities: None
Background:
Born and raised and Sicily, virtually no one would have ever expected Michele Bonanno to grow to such power. His parents took exceptional pride in their son and did whatever they could to get him the best education possible.
As a young man, Michele was always known to be a "man of honor" in his home town. If someone needed something to be taken care of, Michele could almost always get it done. He was the man to come to with problems, whether it be needing a small loan or to talk to a hostile landlord.
It seemed no surprise that through these favors that Michele became a charismatic figure throughout Sicily. Soon, the entire island was behind him and he arguably held more power than the elected public officials. Some accused him of being a part of the mafia and running a family. Though these allegations were never proven, they were never disproved either.
Michele's fame spread like wildfire. The first town to receive him outside of Sicily was Naples. From there, the rest of Southern Italy seemed to look to him as a leader. When elections for a national leader finally came around, Michele was quickly nominated and won in a crushing landslide.
Once in office, Michele continued to use his favors to help people, only on a broader scale. It was these favors that held him in office and rallied the entire nation behind him. Italy grew and prospered, surpassing the rest of Europe in economic and military power.
In a sort of irony, Michele was lovingly called "Godfather." It made sense, after all, as the role of a godfather and the relationship between a godfather and godchild was a very special and sacred one to the Italian people.
A pillar of strength and beacon of light to his people, Michele leads Italy. Recently, he has looked upon the changes in the world and the actions of the Red Bamboo with caution. He stands strong against the organization and can be counted upon as a powerful ally.
