A charismatic smile, good looks, and a lighthearted attitude add to the misconception. At 25 he is a near genius with several years experience and wisdom well beyond his age. A caring and sympathetic individual he is always attempting to help others and will tackle any problem no matter how big. While he feels passionately about things he is quick to anger and see the worst in mankind. He is thorough and insists on accuracy and competency. He is unyielding and refuses to accept general conceptions. His photographic memory and analytical mind are valued assets to his team.
Inventory: Glasses, pen and paper, research equipment, his laptop, and a camera
*Special*: N/A
Background: Obsessed with kaiju since his youth Alan Drake studied everything he could on them with the intent of one day doing so professionally. After college and after several years working for various companies and the government he attempted to get funding for a kaiju research group only to be rejected at every turn. Soon after the events that led to the awakening of Zilla he formed D.R.A.C.O (Daikaiju Research Analysis and Collection Organization) to follow the creature and record all information on it and the monsters it encounters.
Made up of his best friend and a few misfits of the scientific community D.R.A.C.O and Alan document all relevant information on kaiju they encounter and often they discover things before G-Force or other groups do. However their independent status often causes tension with governments, established organizations, and makes the group hard pressed for the equipment they need. Alan also gets along very poorly with many people and his theories although correct are usually dismissed only to be praised when it is too late.
Though they focus primarily on Zilla and his activities they also research other monsters. The entire team has a mix of affection, admiration, and fear of and for the creature. The world at large doesn’t understand the monster and think of it as a dangerous animal, but the team sees Zilla as much more.
