Dr. Asaguri, despite his line of work, dealing with kaiju research and the development of anti-kaiju weapons wears a white lab coat in a discheveled manner. he is not what most people would consider as a scientist or even a professional at first glance. he is disorganised, often late for meetings, and absent minded at times. however, he is the world's leading athority on kaiju, and when push comes to shove there is no one who can get the job done better.
Inventory: Being in charge of a large force of UN soldiers, Asaguri carries the standard officer's sidearm, an uncommon thing for a scientist to have. he also carries his laptop along with several data disks with information on various kaiju in his pockets.
Background: when kaiju first started showing in numbers, a young and aspiring scientist took up a line of work that no one had considered a form of science untill his work became recognised. young Akira Asaguri passionately chased the giant monsters around the globe, recording everything he could about them. Akira knows more about kaiju than anyone lese in the world. when the UN decided that kaiju were becoming a threat and opted to start an anti-kaiju research facility in antarctica, Asaguri was the first and foremost choice. he firmly believes that they should be studied, not destroyed, however, he has noted that many kaiju have humanlike intelects, and have a definite knowlage of good and evil. it was because of this discovery that Asaguri agreed to command the millitary research and development facility. some kaiju wanted to cause death. and those kaiju needed to be stopped. his base, the Polar-1 research station has it's own spot in the leage of nations and Asaguri is regarded by the UN as the expert on kaiju, and the official kaijuologist of the UN. Currently, Asaguri is working on a new system of propultion for Anti-kaiju Mechs.
