Description: Forged in the deepest pits of the ocean Leviathan is a product of his environment, a massive beast covered in thick armor a murky black color, his eyes are a pitiless red and his mouth is filled with razor sharp teeth. When in the sea his extremeties (arms/legs) fold into his armor and leave his much more streamlined form to be propelled by his immensely long aligator like tail. If he is thrust into a fight he quickly changes to his land/combat form in which he stands bipedally similarly to Godzilla the thick armor surrounding his body gives him a very hunched profile but even then he towers over his foes. Though not the fastest of kaiju on land his extremely heavy armor and fine-tuned predatory instincts make him a fearsome foe.
Combat Style: Much like a shark Leviathan has no natural predators as such he has no fear of other beasts. He never hesitates in his attacks trusting in his armor to defend himself adequately while he goes about the business of pummelling his opponent or opponents. Often times his opponent is faster or more agile than himself, this results in his getting fewer blows in than them but they are extremely telling due to his awe inspiring strength. His determination knows no limits and he is one of the most pugnacious kaiju on the planet. He is most likely to fight to the bitter end, it’s unlikely he’ll retreat until he’s catastrophically close to death.
Qualities:
1: Heavy Armor: Leviathan’s body has mutated to deal with the intense pressures of the deepest area of the ocean. As such his bones, armor and even flesh is hardened and capable of withstanding the most punishing of physical attacks.
2: Heavy Armor2: Another benefit of his ungodly powerful armor is that Leviathan has a resiliency against energy, while he is not immune to him, single blasts of energy, or even suicide blasts won't put him on the edge of death. Much like any armored creature though, a determined assault can crack his armor.
3 : Giant Strength: Thanks to his extremely dense musculature Leviatha has a strength that is stunning to behold. He is more than able to fight opponents much bigger than himself…
4: Regenerator: Quite a potent regenerator, this lovely quality carried through into his current form allowing him to regenerate his body quite quickly and his armor over relatively short periods of time when one consideres how formidable it is. Flesh wounds heal in minutes, but armor, if it is cracked or ripped off even takes longer. All healing speeds up if Leviathan is near an extreme heat source, such as a volcano, underwater vent, ect.
Weakness: Extreme cold. The downfall to the original Leviathan and the reason he was initially imprisoned deep in the ocean. The same denseness that makes him such a powerful foe is his greatest weakness as he requires extreme heat to keep himself mobile. Freezing rays work well against him as he grows sluggish as his body temperature bleeds off.
Special Attacks:
1: Striker Beam: A beam of concentrated energy produced from deep within Leviathan it is a potent beam capable of causing heat damage as well as a phsyical blow.
Origin/History: The original Leviathan was a creature of myth and legend tormenting sailors and ships for decades. He was reguarded as a massive snake or squid because none could imagine a creature so huge that there was little more than his claws above the water at any time.
Eventually this creature was frozen in ice due to a misshap in the polar regions with another creature unknown to legends. During his long sleep Leviathan was bombarded by all sorts of radiations especially by the aliens known as the Garidiuns. Their concentrated radiations worked a twisted miracle on Leviathan’s already monstrous form giving it a hideous strength and power.
As global warming slowly chipped away at the Ice Poles of the Earth Leviathan felt the first rays of the sun he’d felt in literally Ages. Bursting free of his prison the Kaiju felt a horrible urge to destroy, not simply to feed but to enjoy the crushing of opponents and snuffing of lives.
Unsure of where such a malicious intent could have arrived from and incapable of questioning it Leviathan moved out into the waters and has become a scourge to all humanity and even Kaiju as he is a terrible foe that revels in creating death and chaos.
