Tarrasque may be returning. But on a second look, I really don't see what you guys mean by hold ups in the approval area. The only sheets in there are in there because their creator has yet to make the neccessary changes.

Other than what Goji mentioned about someone posting and automatically having their attack hit there are few problems I have seen. That and Psycho.

Infrequent posting is irritating too, especially when the other player isn’t told why things are taking so long.

It can also be irritating when a thread is flowing well and suddenly someone pops in with their kaiju for little or no reason other than to be part of a thread. It ruins whatever was happening, screws up the flow, and makes no sense. A kaiju is just flying along and suddenly, BOOM, it decides to fight others? I hate that kind of thing with a passion.

Did I mention Psycho?

I know that, but I guess my main point is, if someone is going to get involved in a thread, there should be a reason. Sure the main goal is for the kaiju to fight, to wreck things around them, and that is all fine and good, but there should be a reason.

For instance a kaiju is flying overhead, sees another and then for no reason decides to attack it? It isn’t just stupid its bad storytelling, which is essentially, what we are doing. Besides that, they do it with no intention other than battling their intended target. If they were already in the middle of a fight that had a purpose to it and suddenly some newcomer shows up focusing only on what they want to accomplish, it pretty much disregards anything that was done previously.

Essentially I am just asking that people find intelligent ways of introducing characters, of promoting their ideas without running roughshod over other players. However I think that asking people to use common sense and a little originality is asking too much.

Well, if its any consolation I have spoken to a few friends of mine that are interested in joining. I know at least one of them is reliable as far as sticking with something goes, and after showing him Godzilla vs Destroyah he’s become a fanatic, reading as much as he can and getting as many video’s as he can.
