Revan, I don't know why you take so much offense when I simply explain why I think one of your suggestions won't work. I love suggestions, and this is, after all, a democracy. (run by a dictator, heh >.>; When I say one of your ideas won't work, I don't meant that in a negative way, I just know from experience that things like finishing moves lead to trouble.

Finishing moves are to videogame-ish. (I use Super Big Bang Kamehameha!)

This coming from the moron that tried to compare Dooku and Maul based on their performance in a video game?

Finishing moves are to videogame-ish. (I use Super Big Bang Kamehameha!) There have been plenty of times in Kaiju movies in which an actual finisher or a more powerful version of a regular attack (Godzilla’s red heat beam for instance) has been used as a finisher of sorts, so I wouldn’t say it is a strictly videogame thing.

The Spiral Beam really wasn't a finishing move but just an upgraded version of Godzilla's regular beam. I mean, he used it numerous times in bringing down Mecha-godzilla and Destroyah. In fact, he used it all through Godzilla vs. Destroyah. A true finisher would only be used once and would instantly ensure death for the receiver.

Not that it applies to the question, but I believe he used his spiral beam throughout GvsD because he was so overloaded with power he couldn't do anything weaker. And I believe finsihers should only be for dramatic effect, not to be used everytime you fight, or to use the same one anytime you kill somthing. It's much more creative to come up with it on the spot.

I find it funny that every single time Psycho tries unsuccessfully to act intelligent, he is immediately bitch slapped back into his place.
