Speed doesn't make any difference. Megaguirus used spped against him, and for a while it worked until Godzilla used his brain to outsmart her along with his reflexes. If Godzilla gets really pissed, you'd best haul ass, just ask SpaceGodzilla and Destroyah. A. Megaguiris had no Regeneration, and had a weak Exoskeleton. B. The Evas DO have Regeneratioin, Unit001 regenerated her entire arm..in seconds. C. The AT Field is impervious to any conventional weapon, Nuclear Mines were used against it. |

Sigh...why do I even bother..Goji has sustained damage from the Military, but he has regen. The Eva on the other hand, rarely sustains visable damage. |

Godzilla dosen't have to block anything. He can take a lot more than those angels. But that isn't the point.
In this RP, I will NOT allow AT fields. Ask Trent, it took him WEEKS to finally water the damn thing down enough to get Sachiel approved. And this time around, it just isn't going to happen.

Not to switch subjects, but let's consider another king, Kong. Providing he could get through the AT Field, I'm pretty certain King Kong could beat the living daylights out of any of the evas. Sure they may be vicious when they go bezerk but he's a gorilla. You never, ever want to piss one of those off and he's got the smallest fuse in the world, coupled with the biggest temper.

I actually just got done watching the subbed GMK( Rented it from Hollywood Video..yeah, shocked me too ). I've also seen vairious Heisei films, and STILL, the Eva is leaps and bounds more powerful. Goji isn't the fastest creature on earth, and the Eva can litterlly run circles around him. Gamera..see Goji. Now, the AT Field has been peirced by beams, but RARELY has an Angel gotten through the field with HtH alone. Goji just isn't powerful enough to do any lasting damage on any of the Eva. They can regenerate entire limbs in SECONDS. Although, I'm quite sure Gamera's Mana beam could peirce the AT Field, and inflict some rather hefty damage on the Eva. Probally so could Meltdown's beam. But the Eva fights close, and isn't afraid to rip anything off and use it against said creature. Goji's own dorsal plates might be his undoing. |

Yeah, and if this is SO powerful, why should it be in this rp? If it can supposedly beat the crap out of Big G, than why should it be in this rp? Its a little too powerful, unless you water it down like Trent did.

You keep saying that Eva's are faster than Godzilla. Yes, they are. Would they help them? For a little bit. But that isn't going to keep them alive forever. Godzilla has fought many fast enemies. And Vader is right, Kong would tear an Eva to pieces before it got achance on him. Those things are skinny, and therefore, easy to rip apart limb by limb for him.
And I think you need to see "Godzilla: Final Wars". That'll change your opinion quick.

He vastly underestimates the power of Kaiju like Godzilla and Gamera. Oh and I watched Evangelion. The most BORING and CONFUSING anime I ever watched. Rahxephon, while almost as confusing, is much much better.

Whether or not the actual anime is good aside,
EVA-01 can wipe the floor with Godzilla and likely Gamera as well.
It's too easy for EVA-01 to run up to Godzilla, leap onto his shoulder, grab him by the jaws and rip the top part of his skull off with little resistance. Godzilla is too slow to ever hit EVA with a physical attack, and the nuclear blast is child's play compared to the weapons EVA has faced before.
Gamera would be in for a worse beating because he can't even regenerate effectively and his plasma balls are slower than Godzilla's beam.
The AT-Field is a psychic forcefield used by Angels. Naturally, nothing that is of Earth can penetrate it, except for another AT-Field or a weapon specifically designed to penetrate it.
It comes with the anime territory, you simply can't compare some anime monsters and mecha with live-action kaiju. Ultraman has a far better chance than either reptilian kaiju.
If Strangelove is to use EVA, they will have to be severely toned down.

Yes, this I realise greatly. Also...FW was a joke. All the Kaijuu were toned down, wtf? Keizer Ghidorah could barely MOVE. While it was rather amazeing that Goji nearly shot down a Meteor, that just proves his aim and eyesight is God-like.
