Pain jolted through his gut as the punch struck him. Backing away from his robotic opponent Zilla looked as if he was considering his options for a moment before leaping past the mech as if he were going to flee.

Turning about, Abbadon took a ready stance. Finally he had the creature giving ground, and he was not willing to lose an inch of it himself.......he would let it go, for today atleast. The lives of the People of New York was to precious to risk an all out battle to the end....Their survival would be victory enough.

Zilla took a few powerful strides before turning around clawing his way up a skyscraper. As the building weakened beneath his weight he pushed off, his powerful leap carrying him straight for his mechanical foe as his teeth snapped and his claws slashed. Meanwhile the building, once filled with lush offices, lost several floors.

An intense rage filled Mathew as he saw the building crumble. He had offered the creature a way out, and not only had it spurned his offer, he had harmed innocent lives. In short, Mathew was ready to kick some heads in. Charging forward at the still airborne lizard, Mathew laughed as he led with his right fist, the poor lizard having no way at all in which to change it's coarse through the air, it had just set itself up on a collision coarse with something much bigger and harder than itself. In a way he almost pitied the poor lizard, but found even that hard as he recalled the crumbeling building.

Zilla hit hard, his eyes glazing for a moment after the impact. As his senses cleared he struggled to get back to a vertical base, sweeping at the legs of the Abbadon with his tail to try and bring it down with him.

Mathew laughed at the creatures attempt to trip him with just it's tail. True the creature actually had 5 meters on him, but It seemed to weigh only about a third as much as Abbadon. His heart filled with malice, Mathew juked his control sticks, sending Abbadon to it's knees, in the proccess pinning the creatures tail under his immense weight, and began to rain blows onto his saurian opponent.

Rage filled his eyes as pain wracked Zilla’s body. Though he was at first tempted to simply flame his opponent an idea came to him as he noticed their close proximity to several large buildings. Charging his breath weapon for a moment as the blows sent jolts of pain throughout his let loose a single, continuous blast of green-white atomic flame, the deadly breath weapon slicing through skyscrapers, the intense radioactive heat melting the steel support beams. In moments several teetered and swayed as they crumbled, sending large amounts of debris down upon both opponents, the rising smoke blotting out the sky for any humans nearby.

Realizing what the creature intended, Mathew threw Abbadon into action, using his frost cannon to estinguish fires and strengthen supports. Noticing one building tippin heavily to one side, Abbadon rushed over to brace it up, unfortunatly leaving himself exposed in the process

Scrambling to his feet Zilla leapt at his opponent's exposed back, teeth attempting to close around the area between the neck and shoulder, his claws slashing towards the back.

The helicopter had finally arrived, and it began circling the battlefield...
"What the **BEEP** is that!?!"
Gin Rummy asked.
"I believe it's Abbadon, sir. Ya know, one of our mechs that we designed to drive off kaiju..."
A soldier replied.
"Oh...Well, I **BEEP**in' knew that! I was just seein' if you did Mother**BEEP**er!"
The soldier shook his head, and Rummy picked up a radio and sent a message to the pilot.
"Yo' buddy, how ya doin' down there? Need any help?"

Mathew knew the monster would attack him...what he didnt expect was the creatures stupidity. As Zilla landed on his back, Abbadon's knees buckled, and the sky scraper came crashing down upon both of them. Swearing in German, Mathew replied to Rummy's message "Ja, any help you could give vould be good."

Debris fell sending a toxic mixture of chemicals into the air. Chunks of building fell in heaps over the kaiju, his form vanishing beneath the remains of the building and the thick smoke that now covered the area. What had seemed like pure animalistic stupidity on Zilla’s part was actually part of a well conceived strategy, for as the smoke began to dissipate and the final debris settle, he was nowhere to be seen, having seemingly vanished into thin air.

Slamming his fist violently against Abbadon's console, Mathew swore again. As Abbadon stood and began to stalk off, Mathew contacted the local authorities. The monster may be gone, but the damage it caused remained, and he still had plenty of work to do. Atleast he had collected plenty of data on zilla, and next time he, and the rest of Schmidt Industries's Kaiju response team, would be ready.

30 minutes later…
Beneath the debris a large hole had been ripped clean through the concrete, gravel, and even the sewer systems. Zilla had managed to burrow his way out of the stalemate battle, determined to finish the bout with the mechanical intruder. This was his territory and he had no intention of leaving.
The large corpse of a crustacean-like kaiju floated near the docks, large chunks removed from its shell still oozing yellow-green blood. The still smoldering remains of several smaller creatures of the same species appeared scattered near the George Washington bridge and half chewed limbs were discovered a few blocks from the site of the battle. Though the corpses were easily explained as appearing after the tide changed, but the limbs were left as a sign. Zilla had purposely deposited them and it had been behind a still militarized zone, and no one had seen it. Not long afterwards an earsplitting roar echoed throughout the city, a clear sign that the monster was still in New York and the Big Apple hadn’t had the last bite taken out of it…

"Uh...sorry about not being able to help there bud. Time to move on."
Rummy said over the radio, before moving on.
