Rise

[PyrasTerran]

Rio de Janeiro

Sirens blared, smoke and fire filled the air and was drowned by the sounds of panic. Half of the large mount that was surrounded by the city had been torn appart, creating a landslide that burried the city regions around it. And on top of the remains stood Daegre, tail whipping through the air as he contemplated his next move. Looking to the bay he let out a roar, opening his mouth and releasing a volley of energy orbs that lit up the harbor with explosions that reached high into the air.

[Shadow]

Off at sea, Xerlion flew over the water, looking for land. Suddenly, off in the distance, he saw a light. Curious, he drew closer, like a moth to the flame.

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre leaped through the air to purposefully crash through a large portion of buildings, watching as they crumbled all over fleeing citizens. He then perked his head up to the skies. Something was coming.

[Shadow]

Xerlion grew closer to the area Daegre had massacred. The insects inside Xerlion became agitated at the smell of the blood, wanting to feed on the corpses. Xerlion was able to keep them under control as he got into view of the creature that had done this, Daegre.

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre's eyes narrowed as he took a good look at the creature before him. Some kind of insect-like being, it seemed. He paused, grunting and swishing his tail, to see what it would do next.

[Shadow]

A swarm of insects flew from Xerlion, down to feed on the dead bodies littering the city. Xerlion landed and looked at Daegre, observing the strange creature.

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre sniffed the air. It hit him. This thing was not meant to be alive. Narrowing his eyes, Daegre growled aggressively.

[Shadow]

Xerlion stood his ground. He knew not the creature's intent, but he did not feel it would be good...

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre snorted, and let out a suddenly massive wave of rapid-fired energy orbs, all across the cities, destroying large portions of Xerlion's insect army.

[Shadow]

Xerlion made a hissingnoise as he felt the lives of the insects die. He was growing more and more agitated at large creature. He made a silent call to all the rest of his insects, beckoning them back to him.

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre responded with another silo of energy orbs that wracked through the retreating insect swarms as well as pelting at Xerlion with large explosions.

[Shadow]

Xerlion leapt back, narrowly missing the energy orbs. Angered, he roared a challenge to the creature as he attempted to catch it's eyes with his powerful gaze.

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre had already flung himself into the air, flipping forward as his feet launched forward at Xerlion.

[Shadow]

Xerlion raised his arms, getting knocked to the ground but keeping relatively undamaged. He rolled, getting up a short distance from Daegre. Xerlion kicked at Daegre with his powerful legs.

[PyrasTerran]

Daegre ducked from the assault and came in close, firing off a silo of energy orbs in close range.
