Guilt

Middle of Antarctica, miles below the surface

Mike and Lee, two security guards, rummaged through chips and TV channels. Outside them, in a huge chamber, was a frozen giant. Machines were always flying to and fro, keeping the vital signs active and the beast under ice.

Mike looked to Lee.

"Hey, Mike."

"Yo."

"I've been thinkin'.."

"That's never good.."

"This whole business, it's alot like all the other government cover-ups, ain't it?"

"That's kinda the point."

"Hm. But.. why?"

"To protect everyone."

"..Huh?"

"If everyone thought Godzilla was still alive, there'd be no end to it."

"Hm. So protect the people from panic and fear."

"That's right."

"..But what if, hypothetically, Godzilla were to return?"

"The feds'll probably write it off as a second Godzilla, or something."

"I see... ..And, what if they found out about this place?"

"...It's likely, what the government's been fearing'll happen.. tenfold."

Mike and Lee had no idea that Godzilal would, in fact, return. They also had no idea that it would be now.

From the sky, a light shone through the dark clouds, and a twsiting shape writhed through them, floating gracefully through the air like some kind of enormous ribbon. It's scales we're emrald, and the feathery mane about it's head was every color of the rainbow. The creature hovered over the chamber, hissing slightly. It's voice suddenly boomed across the landscape, audible even to the two tiny men who watched on in horror.

"Godzilla, my child. The time has come for you to rise, and take back what is rightfully yours!"

A golden light suddenly exploded from the form of Quetzalcoatl, the light being of such an intense heat that the ice all around Godzilla slowly cracked, and exploded, sending a shower of icy debris miles into the sky.

Quetzalcoatl coiled around, waiting for the mist to disappear.

Mike and Lee were thrown back from the explosion. They got back up and peaked over the sides fo the windows, shivering in fright. There was silence in the mist. Then, a groan. Then, a familiar roar shot through the air.

"SHIT!"

"AHH!!"

They ran to their controls.

"Code red! Repeat! Code red!!!"

[Psychozilla]

Elsewhere...

Pheonix , soaring over Asia, turned his head suddenly to the south. Something was happening there. The sheer energy let off by Godzilla attracted the radioactive Kaiju's attention. Changing course, he went to investigate the source. Perhaps this could be the other one he was searching for.

((Godzilla is basicly a walking nuclear reactor. Radioactive Kaiju like Pheonix and Godzilla have an attraction to high sources of radioactivity, as seen in Godzilla 1985.))

Antarctica...

An enormous defense line of masers, missiles, vulcan cannons, and ice masers that stretched out for miles, lit up the sky with a thick tsunami of artillery, all aimed at Godzilla. The ground around Godzilla exploded in a fiery ball of smoke, flame, snow and ice. Yet through the cloud, a blue blaze of atomic energy strafed across the enemy lines. Seconds later, explosions erupted throughout the defense line. Godzilla let out another roar as he marched towards the line like impending death.

Quetzalcoatl bellowed out a deep laugh as he watched the humans attempts at controlling Godzilla. With a quick motion, a beam of rainbow colored energy burst from the great serpents mouth, directly into the spines of Godzilla, which glowed the same color until he stopped the beam. Godzilla felt refreshed and had a surge of energy.

Godzilla snorted as he watched the sea of fire before him. He was filled with nostalgia. Anger. Pain. Hatred. He let out another piercing roar into the sky as he continued his march, passing the wreckage of the defense line, towards the shores of Antarctica.

[Kurgan]

Quetzalcoatl's mind was suddenly filled with a noble voice.

[glow=blue,2,300]Godzilla is a far more powerfull creature than you can possibly imagine. He has great power and a strong will. He should not be made a destroyer, but rather a savior. In the grand scheme of things, it's about to get ugly and a great warrior like him will be needed to push back the approaching darkness.[/glow]

The clouds then parted as Manda decended from the sky. He encircled Godzilla, but did so in a nonagressive manner. He looked the legendary saurian directly in the eyes.

[glow=blue,2,300] Stop this madness now! You are better than this Godzilla. Do not let Quetzalcoatl turn you into a mindless killing machine. There is good within you. Yes man has done some horrible things, but those were mistakes and we all make those from time to time. Do not make the mistake of letting your anger and hatred towards humanity get the better of you and turn you into something you are not.[/glow]

Without a second to spare, a blue blast of radioactive fire spiraled in Manda's direction.

[Kurgan]

Manda gracefully dodge the ray. From out of nowhere, a blizzard began, reducing all visibility.

[glow=blue,2,300]You need to cool your temper and so you can see things clearly. This blizzard, like you, is chaos and in chaos, one has trouble seeing the light.[/glow]

Manda's thunder beam struck the ground near Godzilla's feet.

[glow=blue,2,300]I do not wish to fight you but will if I must in order to ensure the safety of this world.[/glow]

((OOC: Can godzilla be killed? i mean seriously, he's godzilla, does anyone at all stand a freaking chance against him 1v1? besides, if he dies, well hell, the world ends...i mean...he's godzilla for christ sake!))

Godzilla let out a shriek of confusion against the blizzard, but once the beam struck near his feet, it was clear what Manda was looking for in his eyes. Baring his fangs, he let out another beam, a strafing attack to follow Manda's movements.

[Kurgan]

Manda once more dodged the attack, his movements obscured by the blizzard. He then sensed something. There was a great convergence of dark forces. His allie Revan had found the Yog Triumverate and along with another monster were about to take on an army of terrible demons. Manda saw through Revan's eyes what was happening. He had to leave and help.

[glow=blue,2,300] Noble Godzilla, I must leave, something horrible is happening. My help is needed. If you still want to fight me, we will have to continue another time, but first see this.[/glow]

Manda sent the images he had seen to Godzilla of the evil monsters converging.

[glow=blue,2,300]Your help would be appreciated, but I'm not going to expect you to, but know that if me and my allies lose, you may have few allies to assist you when these creatures begin to cause trouble for you. Farewell great warrior.[/glow]

With that, Manda flew away and the blizzard stopped as quickly as it had started.

Manda's voice entered Godzilla's mind one last time suddenly.

[glow=blue,2,300]There is good in you, do not let your mind be clouded by anger and hate for they will eventually destroy whatever soul you have and leave you empty.[/glow]

Godzilla watched as Manda flew away, letting out a roar of supposed victory as he continued his march towards the waters.
