The Meeting

[Revan Amon]

Revan turned to face the delegation once more, her arms folded across her chest. Her purple eyes glittered strangely as she spoke.

"If all Kaiju were bad or evil, as Ms. Jackson seems to assume, what use would I have in manipulating humans? If Charisma was correct in her assumption, which she is not, I'd simply kill you all. And not to sound egoistical, but that would be a rather easy task. Even in my human form, I could crush this ship into scrap metal within a few seconds."

((Technically, Revan COULD do such a thing, but in the RP it can't be allowed because she would kill about 15 characters, heh.))

"There is truth in the fact that neither of you have done anything directly to warrant our suspicions, but you've done nothing to quell them either. At this point, I am not trusting either of you."

With that, Charisma turned back to the delegation.

"Now, I must inform you all of the news that you were brought here to hear. It is quite grim, I'm afraid."

Charisma pressed a button on a remote and the screen showing London switched to a feed showing Antartica, with explosions and smoke covering most of the ice.

Charisma began to explain the entire story of how the Japanese and American governments covered up the fact that Godzilla lived so that humanity could rest easy, of how he was contained, but now there was no way to continue the deception. A garbled roar came across the speakers, but distorted as it was, it was unmistakable. A large form, seen in so many nightmares, emerged from the smoke. Behind it, the blurry form of an enormous serpent coiled in the air.

"Ladies and Gentlemen...Godzilla has been freed."

There was silence. The Chinese didn't speak, nor did Rummy or Angela. Finally, one of the Chinese rose.

"What do you propose we do?"

[Kurgan]

Batista spoke.

"I recommend that we study the creature and gain knowledge on him. I recommend tracking him by satellites and unmanned robotic submaines, if possible we should try to obtain tissue samples. We may find a way to prevent him from attacking our cities. Killing him should be only if all else fails."

Batista looked to the image of him.

"Studies have been done suggesting remarkable healing abilities. A kaijuologist in my employ actually suggested that research on his healing powers may yield miracle cures for terrible diseases."

He then turns to Revan.

"The others doubt you miss. Perhaps you can prove them wrong by helping us to deal with Godzilla."

[Lord Vader]

Angelenis looked to the screen, though she could mentally see Godzilla as well through her own telepathy. Her ephemeral eyes shone a bit, as she looked to the delegation.

"The power and marauding nature of Godzilla only shows one thing. The world of my brethern lacks order. I will bring that order." she looked about the congregation of delegates, turning to Batista.

"Would it be a hassle for you to call your toys off of me? I have not yet even struck the tiniest of hairs on a single one of your people and yet you attack me. For a 'peace-loving' race, a sophisticaed race, a race that contrasts itself with my own and calls us barbaric, aggressive, and cruel, you have shown even worse manners than I have. You criticize me with extreme precision, but are you ready to turn that meticulous precision on yourselves? You may be shocked as to what you see..." she smiled a slight bit, glancing to Batista.

"I do not mean to insult you fine people. I only mean to show you, to tell you. We are not so different. In physical appearance, power, and other such things, yes. Yet deep down, how different are we? Am not both Revan and myself speaking to you? How mindless and vicious can we be if both of us have come to you in good faith to speak with you?" she looked to them, smiling politely as she spoke.

Charisma turned and looked at Angelenis.

"Perhaps you missed my point. Godzilla, the most destructive thing ever to exist, has been freed. This was not done by some terrorist group, nor by some kaiju religion fanatics. This was done by a kaiju." shed said, hitting a few keys on her keyboard. The blurry image of the serpent gained clarity.

[Shadow]

Schnieder looked closely at the image.
"Well, do we know the identity of the one who freed him?"

[Kurgan]

Manda arrived outside both ships, but showed no hostility. He entered the minds of the delegation speaking in a gentle and wise voice[OOC:His voice as I envision it is similar to Sir Alec Guiness.].

[glow=blue,2,300] I am the Thunder God Manda. Do not be afraid, I mean you no harm. The creature you see is named Quetzalcoatl. He is the one who freed Godzilla. He goaded the monster to attack and fueled the fires of his anger toward your species. Quetzalcoatl believes that kaiju are the true masters of this world and seeks to ignite a war against your species with the ultimate goal of kaiju dominating the Earth. I have chosen to side with humanity as I have done in the distant past. You have my protection. I also tried to convince Godzilla that humanity has made some mistakes in the past and that he needs to forgive. Unfortunatly I failed. I will not give up trying to wn him over though. I sense a good soul within him and it's that good within him that I shall continue to try to reach.[/glow]

Charisma listened to the kaiju's words. If today hadn't already taught her different, she would have believed such a thing ludicris. By now she had communicated with several kaiju.

"While what you say may be true, it all has to be brought into consideration. We need to gather more information before we decide to make a move. To help us with that, I have invited someone here. A paleontologist who knows quite a bit about...Quetzalcoatl."

A middle aged man entered the room, wearing khaki pants with a white button up shirt, and a vest. he adjusted his glasses as he shook Charisma's hand and stood next to her, facing the delegation

"Hello....I'm Dr. Nick Jackson. Some of you may recall an incident in Mexico several days ago, involving the complete destruction of an ancient temple as well as the eminating of a strange energy source. I was part of the team that saw the emergence of Quetzalcoatl. In the days since I have been collecting research and data recovered from the remains of the temple, that tell of things modern man never knew of."

[Lord Vader]

"What type of things?" Michele Bonanno asked, giving a cough as he did. He stood up and turned to Nick, running a hand over his slicked back hair.

"And does it have anything to do with either of them?" He motioned towards the ephemeral Angelenis and Revan.

Nick looked around nervously before speaking again.

"What I'm going to say to you is going to sound...impossible...but if events today haven't opened your mind, then I do not know what will. While we were in the cavern created by the cave-in, we examined the many heiroglyphs on the walls." he said, activating a slideshow of pictures of the cavern and heiroglyphs.

"These told the entire story of Quetzalcoatl, apperently told to the ancient Aztecs by the deity himself. In short, the story tells that Quetzalcoatl himself was created along with the Earth, and dwelled on it for some time, alone. Living on the planet alone was not to Quetzalcoatls liking, so he left, wrapping himself around a passing comet, to explore the universe. In his absence, life slowly started." Nick puased for a moment, looking out the windows at the Earth.

"By chance, many million years later, Quetzalcoatl returned, this time, inside an asteroid. This asteroid slammed into the Earth, extinguishing almost all forms of life. Saddend deeply by this loss of life on his account, Quetzalcoatl created creatures in the image of those that had died, calling them kaiju. Aside from their size, most of these creatures were identical to the dinosaurs, in fact, I have documented a few already. As time passed, Quetzalcoatl created more and more far fetched kaiju, of all shapes and sizes."

"Soon, a new species of animal emerged, man. All over the plane, men worshipped the kaiju as gods, and the tribes of man would go to war at the feet of their patron kaiju. Quetzalcoatl himself was worshipped in South America, the land he took a personal liking to. Life continued like this for many more millions of years, until the kaiju went into hibernation, sometimes forced, sometimes willingly. Other kaiju perished, still more left Earth for unknown parts of the universe. In short, the kaiju we're disappearing. Quetzalcoatl, who would not leave the planet again for fear of losing his children, was to hibernate himself, but not before promising his return to the humans that worshipped him. They built a temple in his honor above his resting place. Very few kaiju surfaced since his slumber, explaining our complete ignorance of him."

"Now that he has awakened, he has sent out a call to his children, bringing them from their slumber. "

[Kurgan]

Manda nodded his head.

[glow=blue,2,300]This will mean that both god and evil kaiju will appear. Unfortunatly the good ones may suffer because of the actions of the evil ones.[/glow]

"And how, may I ask, are we to decide who is good and who is evil?" Angelenis stepped forward, smirking to the delegation.
